Very cozy and casual place at north end Boston. It is always crowded and trendy. If you are visiting Boston is a must visit place!!!

There are better restaurants around. The location and window view seats are great, and the wine was excellent, but everything else was a little disappointing. The bread was mushy and doughy. I ordered a pasta dish with a lobster tail, shrimp, clams and mussels. It came with chewey pasta, not enough sauce and the fish was just okay. I also only got half a lobster tail with not much meat. I have been before and have had better food.

Food was ok.... Nothing special. Service was prompt and good. Started at bar but bartender appeared very confused for a Monday night. Sat shortly after we put our name in. Food came out quickly but it really wasn't anything special.

This place is actually really good and it opens up right to the street. The environment is awesome the bartenders were awesome to us and everybody sitting there was really friendly and super nice to talk to. On top of all that the food is absolutely incredible we had some calamari it was delicious definitely recommend this place one of the best I would think in the North End!!! 🤗😎

Excellent food, fantastic atmosphere, phenomenal service. I highly recommend the fillet and the key-lime pie. I was saddened by the lack of dessert drinks (no port or lemoncello for my dessert) but no so sad that I won't go back!

Good Italian food but chicken cacatore without pasta? It was a half chicken with all the veggies and sauce but should come with pasta. Service was a little slow and inattentive.

Open air cafe in the Boston north end. Exceptional food (calamari, shrimp linguine, lobster ravioli) very good beer wine and liquors (Boss Hog!) Very fair prices.Wait staff efficient, food timing maybe a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry.Definitely a place to come again!

i got the lasagna filled with ricotta and spinach and it’s was amazing!! the appetizers were fantastic also!! The atmosphere is beautiful, it’s a small place with a nice bar and it’s perfect if you’re going out on a romantic date or just to eat some amazing italian in a great location

went here when family was in town never having eaten here before. Was a little nervous w the mixed reviews online (like most restaurants in little Italy), but it was really great. A nice fun space, and the prices are well worth the portions! Definitely worth a visit when in town.

We arrived just before they closed for lunch, and they were kind enough to seat us and take our orders right away before the kitchen closed. Our table by the open window was excellent for people watching! My fettuccine carbonara was SO GOOD and the serving size was perfect for lunch.

This is my new standard for lobster ravioli! This was perfect- the sauce was rich, yet not overpowering. The lobster flavor came though very nicely- as well as in the sauce. Their tiramisu was quite good and their salads were fresh light and refreshing. Service was fast and the restaurant has a nice ambiance.

So glad we passed by, Google the area, and found this place! It is definitely nothing fancy, exactly what we were looking for. All we wanted was some wine and nice Italian food at a comfortable cute place. And we found it! The food was so yummy. Our server was so nice and polite. I had a little problem with my first dish and our server said no problem - tell me what you want instead and I will give it to you. She was so nice and understanding. Do yourself a favor and try this place, highly recommended (pics taken with Pixel 3xl)

The restaurant has nice ambiance and the service was good. The wait time was quite decent, at least I didn't wait for a long time. I had a 15 min wait, and I used that time to quick grab a cannoli from Mike's Pastry.The restaurant is quite popular and almost full house when I visited. The waiter was really helpful in making me understand the menu. The service was nice, quite fast and the food tasted delicious. I ordered lasagna and it's one the best place to try if you like lasagna!

A delightful authentic Italian restaurant in The distinctly Italian Hanover St. We had excellent table service and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was quite full and noisy but it was a ‘happy noise’ so not the place for quiet, intimate dining. My Tortilloni ai Porcini was perfect. The cod was perfectly cooked and ‘melt in the mouth’ delicious according to my husband.

This place was spot on. My linguine scampi and my husband’s lobster ravioli were absolutely delicious. Our server was sweet and efficient. We were able to walk right in and get a table (it was a Wednesday night around 6pm). It is a small restaurant but tastefully decorated and cozy. I highly recommend this place for quality Italian food in a relaxing, warm atmosphere.

Not a bad spot at all, first time going. Food wasn’t bad. Was a bit disappointed with the service. First I ordered a meal and as my other friends were ordering there’s I decided I wanted to switch mine as soon as our server was done taking the last order. Unfortunately when I asked, he told me he already submitted it and it couldn’t be changed. I also ordered a beer twice and it wasn’t till the third time I asked when it came out. Atmosphere was great, food wasn’t bad, but when we rack up a 400 dollar tab between meals and drinks I expect to be able to change my order when I ask. Especially when it was within seconds of the last person ordering.

My wife and I went here tonight. The food was great and the staff was very attentive. The food came out in at a reasonable time.Zuppa di Pesce was amazing! We had it with pasta tonight. TIP - that one plate is enough for average two people. Disregard if 6’5” and a pro athlete.

Delicious butternut squash ravioli, the bread and olive oil was great! Got there around 12:30pm, no wait time, and our waitress was good about keeping us posted. Some of the other waiters were a bit sloppy looking, and nobody was memorably friendly. The upstairs bathroom wasn’t available when we visited. I’ll definitely be going back for the food!!

We started with a drink at the bar then asked server if we could move to a table, we were denied and there were plenty of open tables... as other customers arrived they were easily seated where we had asked to be. Service was slow, food was good. Keg kicked at beginning of meal when we ordered another .... new keg would not pour... only produced foam... bartender never offered anything else to drink... had to call him back to get a water to wash food down. Not an overall great experience.

I don't understand all of the high reviews. Went their yesterday. Sat outside. Good social distancing. Wait staff friendly but food was average to below average. Started with bread and olive oil. Neither was good. (And what Italian restaurant has mediocre bread and mediocre olive oil) I then had lobster ravioli as entree. Portion size was OK but the flavoring was mild and not memorable. The raviolis themselves were a little hard almost as if previously frozen. The good news is that my daughter liked her eggplant parm. Not a bad experience overall but not at all impressive. I personally would not go back but your experience may differ,

Nice atmosphere which isn't any different than what you'd expect in the North End. However, having Ben behind the bar raises the level of this place above the surrounding restaurants in that it has a bit of a higher end feel than most of the places in the neighborhood.

Stopped in without a reservation with a foursome arguing over other restaurants. Read the menu, looked at terrific view, and noted the delectable aromas. Caesar salad with grilled chicken is heady with wood smoke and delicious.

Stopped by with my wife for quick sandwich. Chicken parm for her and a sausage and pepper parm for me. Good service good sandwiches, contents and bread. My wife is recovering and using a walker. Patrons and staff could not have been nicer. Holding doors open and all. Love Boston's northend.

hit the cafe just as lunch was closing up and getting ready for dinner. they were nice enough to accommodate us. good salad. good pasta and we even tried a pizza. nice windows open to the street which is a change from all.the old taverns we went to all week. highly recommend.

Shrimp scampi was amazing best shrimp I've ever had very very happy. My husband got the chicken broccoli alfredo and was happy as well. Fun friendly atmosphere will definitely be back!
